Proposed Recommendations
- WORK WITHIN EXISTING INSTITUTIONS
- Develop material on ecosystems targeting different levels since not everybody understands the technical aspects
- Encourage considerations of ecosystem in water among professionals in any development, which might impact water.
- Support ecosystem restoration activities e.g. tree planting for sustainability
- Encourage the adoption and use of natural infrastructure specially constructed wetlands for wastewater treatment. This will show how wetlands can be used for productive purposes
- Distribute material on ecosystem in different fora e.g. meetings conferences, etc.
- Establish a node for ecosystems in COACh network to share information among women.
